For long, women have been farmers but have not gained from their farming investiments because they lacked a technical know-how to add value to their products.
This project therefore empower women to learn agro-processing and value addition through provision of agro-processing equipments such as grain milling machines, training in modern farming and environment conservation.
In whatever women do out of their ability and interest, we offer our support to empower their initiatives. we offer free consultation services, evaluations and research related to their initiatives.
Most of the women we empower are widows, and single-mothers who often get involved in any type of work to earn a living.
Many of the elderly women or mothers become dependent because they lack what to do to earn a living. This often leaves both the caretaker and the beneficiary in disparity especially when resources become insufficient.
we therefore support the elderly women and men with soft skills such as knitting, craft-making and others to enable them continue to be productive as they live.
For decades, women have faced many effects due to financial inequality. They have been victims of domestic violence and denial of proper paid services simply because they have been excluded from economic development.
We therefore encourage and empower women to start up and manage home businesses as a key to sustainable development.
Empowering women to improve their financial status has enabled women to be powerful and to engage in leadership roles for their own communities.
This program is intended to empower women and men in remote villages to adopt a saving culture. Since many people in villages are not familiar with banking, this program enables them to learn the benefits of savings and future planning.
In addition, this program also enables them to loan their savings to fellow members, to which loans are returned with 3% interest to enable their savings multiply in a given time.
This does not only add profits to those who save BUT also empowers their home businesses to fight poverty.
This program is aimed at fighting poverty from the root (first-level people in communities)
